Creative Air

I cannot stress how important is to think about yourself or yourself as more than just a logo. A logo is an empty shell, a vessel that will carry all of the meaning, story, and essence that will be used to compile your brand. It is important to think this way when you start out on a branding project because if you say to yourself that you just need a logo, you are missing the bigger picture and in some cases should just not even bother with a logo project unless you are going to go all-in and develop a brand.
I say this because the Creative Air project started out as just make me a logo kind of project. But I helped to educate my client that we needed to develop some of the brand ideas about what creative air is AND what it does and what it will do. We needed to think about how the logo could animate and deeper reasonings to the logo and brand that could be extrapolated on in future phases of the business development.
When it all came down we developed a truly simple and iconic logo for creative air that works on several meaningful levels (the top view of a propeller, similar to the movement of a wind map, mirroring a topographic map) the most important being the negative space in the icon creating a C. Truly simple truly smart and a logo that will develop into a meaningful brand over time.
