The YWCA needed a new logo for their annual luncheon where they honor people within the Phoenix community who have made an impact and helped the community as a whole. The client wanted a mark that could be used by swapping out the year and that included their entire corporate name and also an icon of the state of Arizona.
Through the exploration of this mark we came across the state from the top of the Arizona State Capital building and that “Winged Victory” statue really resonated with the client. From there we set about to illustrate it in a way that would look good both at small sizes and at large sizes if it was to be used on event signage.
